Spiced Orange Cranberry Sauce


Serving the same cranberry sauce every Thanksgiving can get a little boring. Try my spiced orange cranberry sauce to make your turkey dinner just that much more special.




  • 12 oz package fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice (23 oranges), filtered through a fine sieve
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 whole cloves
  • ½ tsp orange zest
  • ¼ tsp salt


  1. Bring ingredients to a boil: Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil, stirring as needed to help dissolve the sugar.
  2. Simmer & serve: Reduce to a simmer and cook 12-15 minutes or until desired thickness, stirring occasionally. Discard cinnamon stick and cloves before serving. Enjoy.
