Apple Crumble Muffins

Why you should try this:

These Apple Crumble Muffins are perfectly spiced and topped with a delicious crumb topping that makes them irresistible.

Ingredients:

apples, flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, salt, butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, sour cream, milk

STEP ONE:

Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves.

STEP TWO:

Beat together butter, white sugar and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla.

STEP THREE:

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, alternating in 2-3 additions with milk. Stir in chopped apples.

STEP FOUR:

Combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, salt and melted butter for the crumb topping.

STEP FIVE:

Transfer batter to muffin pan. Top with crumbs. Bake at 425F for 5 minutes. Reduce temp to 350F and bake another 10-15 minutes.

STEP SIX:

Cool 5 minutes. Turn out directly onto wire rack and cool completely. Serve with powdered sugar.
