Gather and prepare the ingredients.
Blanch and shock fresh green peas or defrost frozen peas.
Slice bread, drizzle with olive oil and bake until crispy.
Add ricotta, peas and remaining ingredients to a food processor or high speed blender.
Process until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning, as needed.
Spoon ricotta-pea spread over crostini and top with prosciutto.
