Crostini with Ricotta,  Peas and Prosciutto

You gotta try this!

This elegant appetizer is easy to make and perfect a dinner party. The sweet ricotta-pea spread compliments the salty, meaty prosciutto so well.

Gather and prepare the ingredients.

STEP 1:

Blanch and shock fresh green peas or defrost frozen peas.

STEP 2:

Slice bread, drizzle with olive oil and bake until crispy.

STEP 3:

Add ricotta, peas and remaining ingredients to a food processor or high speed blender.

STEP 4:

Process until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning, as needed.

STEP 5:

Spoon ricotta-pea spread over  crostini and top with prosciutto.
