Easy, Egg-Free Pistachio Gelato

Quck and easy!

This Pistachio Gelato is easy to make and only takes ten minutes to prepare! This Sicilian style ice cream uses cornstarch instead of eggs for thickening.

Ingredients

Pistachio Cream, Heavy Cream, Whole Milk, Sugar, Cornstarch, Salt, Lemon Juice

Whisk together 1/4 cup of milk and cornstarch to make a slurry.

STEP 1:

Whisk slurry into simmering milk, cream and sugar. Cook about 2 minutes, until thickened.

STEP 2:

Pour milk mixture into a bowl with the pistachio cream, add salt and whisk to combine. Cool and stir in lemon.

STEP 3:

Freeze in your ice cream machine and serve with your favorite toppings.
