(Pasta with Peas and Italian Bacon)

Pasta Piselli e Pancetta

Quick & easy meal!

Pasta Piselli e Pancetta is an easy Italian recipe, perfect for a weeknight meal. All you'll need are peas, onions, Italian bacon and cheese.

Ingredients

Pasta Peas Pancetta Onion Olive oil  Parmesan

Crisp pancetta in olive oil. Transfer to a bowl, reserving oil in pan.

STEP 1:

Sauté onions for 3-5 minutes until soft and translucent.

STEP 2:

Add peas and 1/4 cup of pasta water. Simmer about 2 minutes.

STEP 3:

Add pasta, pancetta and additional pasta water, as needed. Simmer to reduce sauce and stir in grated cheese.
