Add pecans, graham crackers, sugars and salt to a food processor and finely grind. Add melted butter. Pat into pie plate. Prebake for about 10-12 minutes. Reduce oven to 325°F.

When pie is completely cooled, add egg whites, sugar and salt to the bowl of a stand mixer. Whisk over a double boiler to dissolve sugar. Transfer to mixer and beat to stiff peaks
