Authentic White Bolognese Sauce

Perfect Sunday dinner!

Ditch the tomatoes and give this White Bolognese Sauce a try! This rich, velvety meat sauce is made the authentic way with milk, not cream.

Ingredients

Ground Beef Ground Pork Pancetta Onion Carrot Celery Garlic Herbs White Wine Broth Milk Pasta

Sauté onions, celery and carrot until soft and light caramelized.

STEP 1:

Add ground beef, pork and pancetta.

STEP 2:

Season with salt and pepper. Brown for 6-8 minutes.

STEP 3:

Add white wine and reduce. Add broth, milk and herbs. Slow cook for 2-3 hours.

STEP 4:

Add pasta to sauce. Add pasta water as needed. Bring to simmer to thicken. Stir in butter.
