Milk and Honey  Ice Cream

This Milk and Honey Ice Cream has a unique malted milk flavor. The buttery milk powder crumble is the perfect compliment.

Ingredients: 

ICE CREAM:  -milk -cream -nonfat dry milk powder -granulated sugar -light corn syrup or honey -salt CRUMBLE:  -milk powder -all purpose flour -cornstarch -sugar -salt -butter

Reduce milk

Bring milk to a simmer in a pot. Reduce by half. Keep a close eye and reduce heat as needed to prevent burning.

Blend Ice Cream Base

Add reduced milk, cream, sugar, milk powder, corn syrup or honey and salt to blender. Blend until smooth.

Freeze

Cool ice cream base at room temperature. Chill in fridge at least 4 hours. Freeze in ice cream machine per manufacturer's instructions.

Make milk crumble

Combine milk powder, sugar, cornstarch, flour and salt in a bowl. Pour in melted butter. Bake 10 minutes in preheated oven.
